Blog 8: English Language Challenges

 Well, i supose in this blog i have to talk about my experience learning english in this subject, cause is the only level of englsih what i have to do in this two years of univerisity. It is important to say that we are studying online this subject, so the experience is so different in comparison if it were face to face in the university; but the experience until this moment it has been good,the works and the blogs have been nice, cause every single one of us manage our times in a different way, so with this kind of works, we can choose when we do the job, besides, the blogs are a important way to learn more words and how to connect it around a main idea. Blog 7: Changes to my study programme

  In this blog i have to talk about my career, geography, and changes that i could make to it. I am in the second year of this career, so i will talk about my perspective until this moment. Firstly, the subject are so different between them, and it is very nice because geography is a science that covering a lot of knowledge, so is important for us learn about the more differents topics as possible, and then we will choose the specialization what  we like most in the next years The workload i think is nice, but this two years have been online, so the works are reports or things like that, so if you are organized with your times, you will have good grades The faculty is so beatiful, is a very old building but it have a nice atmosphere, but cause the pandemic just this year we were able to go to face to face classes; also it haves a lot of green areas near to it The use of technology is more and more present, cause we use programs to do cartographies, one of the most important to...

Blog 6: Time travel

 In this oportunity i have to talk about time travels to the future. In the actuality i believe this is physically very difficult according to the laws of physical, cause we have to travel close to the speed of light to do that,  but as it is not yet fully understood the nature of time, its possible to dream about make a jump to years in the future. in this case i will choose to travel in 100 or 200 years in the future, so i could see te consecuences of the human action in the planet and the impact of the climatic change- this in a negative way- but also i expect to see the advances of technology achieved by science, in topics like health, enviromental care, space travels and another interesting areas of the human development. i think i only stay for a short time, like 3 or 5 years at most, to learn things and travel to see the changes in the Earth, but my time is in the present and i have all here, so stay in the future will be so nostalgic if i dont come back in some point. ...

Blog 5: My future job

 in this fifth blog i must talk about my future job or what i expect to work in the future. i am not so sure about this, cause i stay in second year of geography so i have so much to learn yet, i only know what i don want to be in an office all days, go outside to field activites in the nature somedays will be nice, in a kind of balance between outdoor and inside works. one of the things calls my attention is the care of the water recurse or the conservation of the nature, it would be nice have te opportunity to learn more about this, because of the climatic change context in what we are living; but how i say, i have so much to learn yet so i would see with calm  i think all want to travel, but in reality it is difficult, so i expect to travel in my job even once in a while in this same way, i only expect to have a salary to let me have a quiet life without much money problems i would like to take a major related to the natural resource manegement or another of this kind well,...

Blog 4: My profession

Hi everyone, i am a student of geography, and in this oportunity i have to talk about my profession. Well, this career is very wide, so describe of what it is about; but mainly there is 3 topics, for one side the "enviroment" in a physical sense; the second one is the study of the human society and his behavior; and the third is the relatition between the enviroment and the society, how they coexist in a same place and his interactions, and the mainly tool to do this is the maps Geography have a lot of positive aspects, some of these are the contact with the nature and the knowledge and relations with many areas of knowledge I choose this career cause the big oportunity to learn about some many topics so it that allow us to understand the problems in a better way. The two topics i am interesting is the study and conservation of the nature; and the geopolitics, so i have to choose one but i can still learn about the other one

Free themed topic.

 This is "free topic" blog, i dont really know about what talk here, i guess talk abour the "Cajon del Maipo" is an interesting theme. This place is in the south of Santiago, close to Puente alto, where i live, so i go very often to escape of the city, the noise and the stress of the university. In the Cajon del Maipo are so many amazing places to visit, the square of the commune with the craft fair, the Maipo RIver, "Mirador de Condores" and so many others. Besides this, the view of all the mountains is wonderful in all the road. One of my favourites places, is "Baños Morales", this village is a little more far (2 hours of travel in car from Puente Alto) but its worth it when you get there; surrounded by mountains, tranquility and peace, and in the night the view of the sky full of stars is indescribable The picture was taken by me this year, i think in June or July, it can be seen the "San José" volcano, and below him is the village o...

Blog 2: best holiday ever

  Hi, in this second blog i should speak about one of my favorite holidays; i think it was when i travel to Punta Arenas and Puerto Natales in November,2019 (yeah, after the "estallido social", i ran from the pacos and the guanaco even in Punta Arenas). This trip lasted 5 days with my cousin, was short but very tiring, cause we have to wake up every day at 6am to go to another places. i had the opportunity to go to Torres del Paine (i took this picture), it is a very beautiful hike to get there Another day we went to "Perito Moreno" glacier, it is in argentine patagonia, and it is so awesome, the biggest glacier i have ever seen.  Besides this, i toured the cities, and some places close to it. Important fact, i recommend, if you go to Puerto Natales, go eat to "Mesita Grande" the best pizza and chelas in the city; and in Punta Arenas, the crab empanada is delicious and cheap.
